Case Study: Vintage Tractor Spares
The Client:
Vintage Tractor Spares is a family run business based near Lutterworth in Leicestershire supplying new parts to classic and vintage tractors.
The Project:
I designed the original website for this company and the logo over 10 years ago, and over the intervening period have redesigned the site from concept designs three times, and have made minor changes each year, although the original vector art logo has been retained.
The clients wanted a search engine optimised website with downloadable price lists that would generate enquiries and back up other marketing initiatives such as attending related shows and magazine advertisements.
Many of the company's customers are not comfortable with computer use. Therefore, straight forward site navigation and a clear design were priorities during the web page design phase.
The website was then built using search engine friendly html with css.
Search engine optimisation of the website was also built in from the start and over the years visitor numbers have continued to grow to several thousand each month.
Google Analytics data confirms that the site appears for over 1,100 different search terms, many of which being of a generic competitive nature including "tractor parts", "tractor spares" and "fordson parts".
