Case Study: Shire Country Services
The Client:
Shire Country Services are a recently established company that provide a range of grassland management services based near Richmond, North Yorkshire. They focus on providing a customised service to the smaller scale landowners or equestrian facilities who are not adequately provided for by agricultural contractors.
The Project:
Shire Country Services required a logo for cross media use and a fully content managed website to work as a marketing tool both independently and in combination with other marketing activities.
The project began with logo design as this would establish the design and colours from which the website would be created. A series of designs were first created with a couple of the designs explored in detail over numerous design phases.
When the logo was finalised a logo pack was created for flexible use of the logo, which included PDF and GIF files. In this instance the artwork was entirely vector based making the PDF version of the logo infinitely scalable.
A draft page design for the website was then created in photoshop based on the styling and colours of the logo. In this case the clients were delighted with the first design produced and we moved on to the development of the website.
The website was search engine optimised and internet marketing techniques were deliberated. News and case studies sections were included within the site to keep the website current, and provide useful information to visitors. The project involved the following:
